INSPIRED BY SENSES

The Story

Some objects are shaped not merely by hands, but by intuition—by the subtle, attuned senses of makers who listen closely to what the materials themselves whisper. For some, creation is an obsession; for others, it is a purpose. Perhaps it is both—a pull so profound it cannot be rationalized, only followed.

Every maker carries within them a story that did not begin with them. It is a narrative passed down through generations—shaped, stitched, carved, and imagined—its wisdom lingering in the fingertips of those who continue the work today.

The pieces they create are more than objects; they are vessels of memory. Each curve, each imperfection, resonates with authenticity, echoing a lineage that refuses to fade. They tell stories of origin, of aspiration, and of identity—quiet testaments to the enduring dialogue between maker, material, and history.

Process

of Modern Making

The making begins with curiosity—a conversation between the maker and the materials.
It unfolds through exploration, experimentation, and countless decision-making and is discovered only through trial and error. In each failure, something authentic is revealed—something organic that resonates deeply. At this stage, the work begins to guide the maker, revealing the path where a new identity begins to emerge.

Each choice, each experiment, becomes an architect of history, shaping what finally comes to life.

Anastasia: “That craftsmanship is an art form — not just a trade. And that the most timeless pieces are the ones that spark emotion.”

PIA Glasswork, an Argentine artist now based in Barcelona, orchestrates her collections around a delicate sense of intimacy, drawing inspiration from the ephemeral beauty of flowers.

Her work transcends the ordinary—limitless imagination takes tangible form through a sensitivity entirely her own. The collection, OBJECT OF AFFECTION, is a true masterpiece, a creation that evokes emotion and lingers in memory long after it is seen.

NEW

ZAVI Ceramics, a commission-based ceramist from Vancouver, crafts pieces that speak to the authenticity found in calmness.

Her latest collection, FORMA, draws inspiration from the sleek elegance of 1950s Art Deco, reimagined through a contemporary lens. Playful yet refined, each piece is a study in form.

The Objkt, founded by Kado Studios Inc., was created with the purpose of providing a platform and ecosystem where artists and makers can thrive. Through limited production, it offers a deliberate pause from the relentless pace of modern consumer culture. More than a resistance to fast-paced consumption, The Objkt is designed to honour the masterful craftsmanship of humankind and to nurture a creative community centered on what truly matters.
